Origin Story

Born in Beirut, Lebanon - I am a first generation immigrant.
As a child, I remember standing in a courtroom in Alexandria, VA, 
watching my parents swear their oath to America as we 
became naturalized citizens.
I spoke no English and had trouble understanding the proceedings,
but I never forgot the look of pride my mother and father had that day.
As immigrants, America offered us hope, opportunity and a future. 
For that, I remain deeply grateful.
This is why I founded GovStar.

RECRUITED OVERSEAS

While living overseas, André Kesteloot, Giles’ father, is recruited by a U.S. intelligence agency.
1979
COMING TO AMERICA

After 10 years of service in the Middle East and Western Europe, the Kesteloots immigrate to America.
1994
RECEIVES VALOR AWARD

André is awarded the Intelligence Star for his extensive covert operations in the Middle East.

He retires overt after 25 years of service.

Only a few dozen individuals have received the Intelligence Star making it one of the rarest valor awards granted by the U.S. Government. 

The Star recognizes agents for voluntary acts of courage performed under conditions of grave risk.

2015
Giles is appointed President of Blackstone Federal

‍Inspired by the legacy of his father who passed the same year, he pledges to transform the company into something truly unique.
2020
GROWTH AND ACQUISITION

Giles leads Blackstone through an exciting cultural and business transformation that fuels five-years of explosive growth and a successful acquisition (2015-2020).

Fueled by a promise Giles made to his father days before he passed -
